Trainee Solicitor
Isla joined the team at TPP
Law in October 2008 and is currently developing her legal skills and knowledge
in the context of Public Private Partnerships and Private Finance Initiatives. She
is responsible for undertaking research tasks
on behalf of clients, drafting and amending legal documents and attending client
meetings to assist directors and assistant solicitors where necessary.
Isla is currently assisting with the procurement
of a new Local Education Partnership for the London Borough of Lambeth as well as assisting on various conditional land
acquisitions in relation to the provision of social care sites for a charitable client. She also undertakes a wide variety of general legal support tasks to assist team
members of the legal team across the firm.
Isla completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction and the Post Graduate
Diploma in Law with commendation at the College of Law in London.
Prior to joining TPP Law, Isla gained paralegal experience both at a city law firm
and with
a leading legal publisher. Her main duties included legal research, know-how
management, training and the production of corporate and commercial updates and
case reports.
